The family roots of Banff's off-the-grid backcountry Skoki Lodge
Skoki Lodge is one of the most gorgeous and cozy off-the-grid lodges in beautiful Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. And the lodge holds special meaning for Ginny White -- her family helped found the lodge back in the 1930s and has been helping people enjoy the backcountry ever since. Watch as Ginny revisits the lodge -- a National Historic Site of Canada -- and tells the story of her family, including her aunt and uncle Peter and Catharine Whyte, the famous artists who now have a museum named for them. She's also crazy-talented skier, and you can see her carve some turns in the backcountry amid some jaw-dropping scenery.
